What is your favorite baby product or item? I remember before Brooke was born I would spend endless hours searching the internet to make sure that I was buying the safest product for her. After spending the last weekend with my friend Katie I wanted to share my love for my jogging stroller. I currently have the BOB single revolution stroller! I absolutely LOVE it! I searched long and hard before spending a butt load of money on this stroller. However I have to admit that this is one of the best jogging strollers! I use it for not only jogging but also everyday walks. The ride is sooo smooth! You can purchase the car seat adapter for your little bundle and use that for the first 6 months then transition them into the 5-point BOB harness once they have better neck/head control. The cars seat adaptor can then be used as a tray with a place for your little one to enjoy snacks and a drink holder. My BOB has a swivel front wheel which makes it really nice to control when weaving in and out of the beach crowd on the boardwalk. Now I have to admit that I have nothing to compare this stroller to since I never had a jogging stroller prior to this one. However I have heard from numerous mom's about their jogging stroller experiences and most recommend the BOB stroller. It's definitely not cheap however if you look at it as an investment it's worth the money. You might even want to look into the double BOB if you are thinking about having your kiddo's close together. I have found two downfalls to the BOB. It is somewhat big so it's hard to use when you are shopping therefore you may have to buy another smaller travel stroller. Secondly, it is somewhat heavy and bulky. Therefore lifting it in and out of the car isn't always the easiest. All and all I couldn't be happier with my BOB!

The Ergo Baby front pack is my one item I can't live without. I too did tons of research and asked tons of questions, but this is by far my favorite thing. Since I had a c-section, I couldn't carry the car seat for a good 3 weeks and even now more than a trip in and out of the store and to a cart is a lot. The stroller is nice, but the compact-ability of the pack is amazing!
ReplyDeleteohhh thanks for the recommendation! have you ever tried the bjorn? just wondering what the difference is and how the back support is for momma?
ReplyDeleteOkay, I didn't know quite where to post this question, but I thought the 'baby product' section would be appropriate...Any thoughts on double strollers yet? We are NOT expecting! But I am thinking ahead as far as function and durability. I really like the idea of a streamlined double like the Phil & Teds. Our dilemma would be that we currently have the Orbit infant system (car seat, stroller, bassinet) and that car seat (as far as I know) doesn't have an adapter to fit any other strollers. Soooo, long post short: what's the best/cost effective way to go when the next babe comes around? Sell off the Orbit system and get a whole new infant combo that works with a double? Just thinking...oh, and we're going to have to upgrade to either the Orbit toddler seat and car seat or something else once Mason outgrows the infant seat anyway! Maybe the Orbit purchase was a big miss on my part. Oh, well.
ReplyDeleteI just want to say that's a wonderful picture of you!
