I'm not sure why but my sweet daughter has been waking up the past couple days at 6am. I know that this is somewhat normal for babies to wake early however she's always been a 730 am baby. I cherish that sleep and factor it in to my total sleep. Therefore, when she wakes earlier that means less sleep for mommy. However I can't be too upset because the second I see her morning smiles I'm ready to start my day. What time does your sweet one wake up?

9 am....most days I wake her up myself! Since she doesn't STTN (9/10 she doesn't), I take it as she's doing me a favor and letting ME sleep in! Ha!
ReplyDeletecourt: are you talking about the puppies? also what is STTN??
ReplyDelete6am is our normal wake up time, but I know what you mean about counting on a certain amount of sleep. If he decides to wake up even 30 min earlier I grumble. Thankfully he does STTN (sleep through the night). Down at 9pm, up at 6. Oh, and those sweet smiles make even a sleepy mama happy :)
ReplyDeletehow have i not known about STTN...see this is an example of just one small thing that we momma's can teach one another!
ReplyDeleteUsually I can count on Quinn to be up around 7 in the morning, depending on whether or not he's STTN!! We're sitting at about 50 percent of nights sleePing from 7 at night to 7 in the morning, eventually we'll get to every night!! Since he definitely does best going to bed early I figure my husband and I can have some quality time together in the evenings!! Whatever suits my little guy sleepwise is alright with me!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Cas, Quinn started to settle into his sleeping schedule around 4 months, so Brooke just might be an early riser!
