For the last two weeks I've been trying to figure out if Brooke was actually making progress with her attempt to scoot. It was pretty apparent tonight that she was making good distance! I placed her down on her blanket while I made myself some dinner...looked back over and she was almost under her swing. Looks like the fun is about to start! It's crazy to think that only 4 short months ago she was just a SMALL bundle of joy. Waking only to eat, have her diaper changed, and to throw out a beautiful smile! I'm so fortunate to be able to see most milestones while I stay at home and watch her grow. I love and miss my job as a nurse but can't think of anything more rewarding than being a mom right now. It's time for this tired (mostly from outlet shopping) mom to hit the sack! Goodnight everyone.

That's amazing!! Quinn is still content to lay on his tummy and look around, Brooke may be crawling before him! Oh my goodness! I swear he does get tummy time!! He lives to sit and play with his toys, but he hasn't lunged forward in any attempt to scoot or crawl yet.
ReplyDeleteEvery baby does things on their own time. To be honest with you I think she has sooo much of her father in her. Apparently Greg was a SUPER early crawler and very ACTIVE! From the first couple times we put her on her tummy she was pushing up into cobra pose. Plus she really loves tummy time. I honestly could leave her there for 30 minutes and she'd be happy as a clam. Before you know it he'll be moving. Other mom's tell me the fun is about to beginning...i think thats code for something but i haven't decided what yet.
