One thing that my mom told me early on into motherhood was that everyday is a new day! This has probably been the best advice that I've been given and in return I've consistently passed it on to others. It might seem so cliche but it's very true and as a TIRED and delusional mom you might forget the basics. As a new mom and someone that is staying home with Brooke there are days that I think I can't make it. It's refreshing to think that tomorrow is another day. You might feel personal defeat or that your sweet baby is having a rough day...remember the mantra...everyday is a new day. It's helped me get through some tough times and it's always a smart idea to call a friend to just hear an outside voice. They always have a fresh perspective and they usually aren't dealing with a newborn like you are. When I feel myself starting to feel defeated I make sure to turn up the LOVE factor on Brooke. It seems to help things turn around. Lots of kisses can help change your mood. Ultimately your baby is growing and changing everyday and who knows what milestone they may be at the following week. Enjoy every second of it!
