Although Brooke would never let me swaddle her I have definitely mastered the skills during my days as a nurse. The only thing you really need in order to do so is a HUGE blanket. If you tend to have a sweat baby like our sweet Brooke you might want to look for thin blankets in order for your babe to stay comfortable. Aden and Anais is a brand of blankets that are WONDERFUL for the toasty baby. These blankets are made of muslin offering both softness and breathability. They clam the more you wash the softer they get...and I'm hear to tell ya it's the truth! The company does have a website however I've also noticed them in packs of three at Target. The swaddling wrap comes in a 47 inch square size...perfect for swaddling and we've also used ours to cover her car seat when out and about (still airy enough that baby isn't in their own personal sauna!). Well everyone happy MONDAY! I'll be spending my day inside doing the endless loads of laundry that every mom knows about!
